A nonprofit reproductive healthcare clinic is looking for full-time Receptionist who provides front line customer service and support by receiving customers (patients, visitors, and staff) and/or their phone calls, determining nature of business, and directing external customers and/or their inquiries to destination by performing the duties listed below.

With a strong commitment to quality health care, the Primary Care Clinician will evaluate and treat medical problems including allergy and asthma, cough and cold, flu shots and immunizations, urinary tract infections, acne, etc. for patients who utilize services.

Position responsibilities include:
  1. Greeting customers, directing them to appropriate department/staff member. Ensures that visitors complete visitor log and receive visitor badge. Collects visitor badge as visitor leaves facility.
  2. Operating telephone console to receive incoming phone calls and messages.
  3. Receive deliveries (mail, courier service, supplies, etc.) and insure distribution to appropriate staff/department.
  4. Tracks all deliveries that come in to the office by having the recipient of the delivery sign the Package Tracking sheet.
  5. Point of contact for all building maintenance requests.
  6. Responsible for all printer maintenance and repairs.
  7. Responsible for posting all mail and ensure enough postage for the postage meter.
  8. Supervise the distribution of incoming and outgoing mail (U.S. Mail and interdepartmental).
  9. Ensure cleanliness and organized appearance of the front lobby and reception area.
  10. Ensure that office and break room supplies are purchased and monitored at appropriate levels.
  11. Assemble new hire orientation and benefits packets.
  12. Performing variety of clerical duties for administrative departments as requested and approved by Supervisor.
Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements: One-year receptionist or secretarial experience plus some college/vocational training, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
