Fulltime Monday – Friday
Shifts: 7:30 am – 4 pm, 9:30 am – 6 pm or 10:30 am – 7:00 pm
            ***Need to be flexible and available to work any of the shifts

Nonprofit Medical Clinic has an opening in Newport, CA. for a Patient Services Representative. Must have front office (medical) training and must be FLUENT in Spanish. This clinic deals with many patients who do not speak English.  This is a BUSY clinic. Must be comfortable answering phones, greeting patients and taking information all at once.
Duties include scheduling appointments, greeting patients, answering phones, verifying insurance, checking patients in/out, answering questions etc.
  • Manages incoming calls to the medical/dental clinic and assists callers.
  • Sets medical and eligibility appointments and answers questions.
  • Completes outbound calls for appointment reminders or re-scheduling.
  • Prepares and mails welcome letters to all new MSI/Cal Optima patients weekly.
  • Completes front desk duties and data entry as assigned.
  • Checks call center and front desk voicemails, and ensures calls are returned timely.
  • Completes communication in English and Spanish.
